ABOUT US

TJW Racing was formed by Tom Walker and his wife Jackie at the end of 1994 after a serious accident at Cadwell Park which ended Toms' racing career. All his effort was then focused on building one of the largest and most professional 600 teams in the country.

In 1995 TJW Racing helped their number one rider Andrew Walker take the prestigious 125 British Shell Oil Championship on the new Gramenie 125 G.P Aprilia. That's where the love affair started with Aprilia.

Two years later in 1997 we purchased from Ian Newton, two semi-factory 125 G.P Aprilias with moderate success on the bikes. The team was building up a good and professional relationship with Aprilia.

Aaron Walker (son of Tom and Jackie) started his racing career at 8 years of age in mini motos and within 2 years was junior winter champion and third in the British Junior Championship.

In 2000 Aaron competed in the very competitive JRA 80cc British Championship and in his first attempt came second. In 2001 he competed in the highly publicised 125 Aprilia Superteen Championship and to the teams amazement came third. He was also the Auto 66 125 Production Champion.

2002 Tom had long negotiations with Aprilia and was able to buy Max Sabatini 125 G.P works Aprilia from Bossini Fontana Racing. Aaron has had ten outings on this bike with a total of seven wins so far. 'It is Tom and Jackies' aim to have Aaron racing in Grand Prix by 2008.
