Brands Hatch test Report

A frosty morning greeted the TJW Racing Team; part of the track was still quite damp. The team decided that the first session of the day was not going to be run, due to slippery track conditions. This session caught quite a lot of other riders out, resulting in a total of 7 bikes going down.

As the sun broke through and track temperature increased, Aaron climbed a board. Steady couple of out-laps to assess the conditions. It soon became clear that the track had dried out. The session was soon to be Red Flagged due to another rider going down.

The third session soon saw Aaron settling down into a very respectable pace, until the exhaust broke, resulting in a substantial loss off power.

After lunch the track temperature had increased, Aaron climbed aboard, with the new Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa tyres, supplied from Pirelli. Aaron, with a clear track in front of him, soon got his head down and started to reel of some very impressive lap times. Aarons’ fastest lap was nearly 2 seconds quicker than last years fastest lap in the race at Brands in 2006.
